I watch NASA TV frequently so I see bits of the educational programming aimed at (I guess) grades 5 thru 12. What I find very irritating is the constant background music on this programming. I recently saw a really good session on geometry but the teacher was drowned out by classical music (my wife thought I was waching TV while listening to our local classical music radio station). My question to any teachers on this forum is: Do other educational videos have this constant music background, anf if so do you think it help or hinder learning?
