New Mexico Lobos soccer player Elizabeth Lambert plays rough with BYU Going Viral ESPN Has anyone seen this video clip from a soccer game? This is really sad and disgusting.
I watched it on CNN and later heard she was suspended indefinitely. Not a good role model by any means. That hair pull and take down is straight out of the playbook of the WWE.
It's been all over the internet, not to mention the network news. There's no question that she took some dirty shots. However, anyone who thinks that these things don't happen routinely hasn't played sports at a very high level. I can't condone her behavior but please don't believe that somehow she's the only dirty player on the field. It happens everywhere.
Here is another example of poor sportsmanship. Guy intentionally kicks guy in the family jewels. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAMl4F49MXY Hungry? Serve yourself some raw organic ear. Hannibal would be impressed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXJtmDTV_uA
The cheque is in the mail. Spoken like a seasoned criminal. Ricky and Julian and Bubbles would be proud.
Holy crap, dude. I've never seen anything like that. I have to be somewhat skeptical of kizmet. I watch sports, and true I've never played at a very high level, and ya, it happens, but that many times in one game? In the back? Usually "unsportsmanlike conduct" in games like this is, well, more sporting? Hockey players toss of the gloves and fight face to face. Football players go at it, face to face, man vs man, not usually man vs whoever. And not usually behind their backs. Maybe I'm wrong, but are you sure THIS kind of dirty play is really routine? I think two people fighting each other is OK, honestly. There is no shame in one person socking another person for a reason. It's playing dirty that's truly unsportsmanlike. You punch somebody to their face or not at all. If I was the ref I would have tossed her for the hair pulling, that was gnarly.
