With the price tag at Northcentral University is not bad, but so many people try to get out of the program because of their services. That triggered my decision to Capella University.

 

I was looking at it as 17 courses (how many I had to take) and I thought the tuition was $2,100. The only hidden fee was the $2,100 dissertation fee. What other hidden fees have they tacked on. Oh, I do remember arguing about some annual $25 technology fee. And yes - I am happy to be done but not because of the tuition increases. I know that no one wants an increase but when I started 6 years ago the tuition was $1,425 per class and increased to $1,800 per class. That is not too bad over a 6 year period (in my opinion).

Professional accreditation = gold standard
Regional accreditation = silver standard
National accreditation = bronze standard
Haven't figured out who is iron standard
