Has anyone taken the online courses for the MBA program at Jacksonville State University? Did all of the courses' exams have to be proctored? The reason I'm asking is because I've had problems finding a local proctor in the past. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Do they say whether a local librarian is an acceptable proctor or do they insist it has to be some testing/tutoring center like Kaplan or Sylvan or such like?
This information is pulled from JSU website: I was wondering if anyone has done JSU distance education program and could possibly share their experience or give some advice.
I did... sort of I got my MS in emergency management from JSU, and I did it online. This was almost three years ago and it was not the MBA, but I never once took a proctored exam. All the instructors simply gave us ginormous open book tests or 7 to 8 pages worth of essay questions for our tests. Don't know how much that helps. JSU is a great school.
I am currently enrolled in the MBA program at JSU and I have not had any proctored exams. Let me know if you have any other questions about the program...
Thanks bmills072200. Do you have any info regarding the comprehensive exam for the MBA requirement? Do students have to travel to the school for this exam?
