Certainly not a "smart income package" in the US. Perhaps it is, where Arnavkumar lives -- although I'm becoming convinced that there's a thriving local trade in spamming

Attack of Arnavkumar and the Spamazoids also going on in another thread: http://www.degreeinfo.com/general-distance-learning-discussions/15592-medical-assistant-2.html

Mods - how about lockin' 'em down -- both threads?

I haven't had any problems with my degree from St. Augustine. I have a good job and I make better than the average for most medical assistants. Why is everyone trash talking a school that they have never gone to or even know anyone who has gone to?

You can't be this general in your line of questions. If you give more specifics about your goals and where you currently live, others might be able to help you out and get you the answers that you need.

Since your English is good I'm assuming your not part of his spam team. And because you said you have a degree from St. Augustine I am pretty sure you're not talking about the same school. If you are talking about the non-accredited one in GA you got scammed.

He is talking about the St. Augustine School of Medical Assistants In GA not the one in FL. The GA one is 'accredited' by the The National Accreditation and Certification Board. It's a fake agency.

I am not part of any scam team and I didn't realize that there were two different schools. I just read the posts where you guys were bashing St Augustine and I didn't think that was right. And what's with all of the references to one's English?

Reviews from the fake schools website aren't real reviews.

Its 'accreditor' is not recognized by CHEA and shows up on several degree mill lists.

    Basically, its accreditation is fake.

    He writes in broken English.

The site looks good to me. How would I find out about whether it is fake or not? I have seen a couple of posts here on the forum but those could be faked too.

How can they just get get "fake" reviews? If they were really fake, why would they still be in business?

So, because of the way he writes, we have to chastise him? Is this an "America verses everyone else" thread? I have seen many posters on this forum that are from right here in the United States that can spell or even write using proper grammar. Why don't we get on them rather than the guy who took the time to learn our great language rather than purposely abuse it? I'm not saying that what he is posting is right or wrong, but he still has the right to post without persecution and we have the right to not read what he says especially if our response it not helpful or constructive to the original post.

The original poster asked if Medical Assisting is related to the medical field! I think we have other issues besides grammar ie:SPAM!!!

Non-accredited means its a school that pumps out useless diplomas. I don't care who says what about it that fact alone means this school isn't legitimate. Anyone can pay people to say anything on camera. If you can show me or anyone else on this thread its legitimate using real sources please do. If I'm wrong then I will gladly admit it.

FYI CHEA and the US Department of Edu would be great starting points.

mattyn/efpierce will not be back to answer questions unless he creates a third account.

There is too much spam/trolling for in this thread for it to continue.
