    What about the University of the Pacific and the University of Portland?

    - Regarding the residency, I think Walden has some options for vertual residency.

    - I am also aspiring to do the Walden Phd in Leadership and Organisational Change.

    - My own concerns are;

    1. Since Walden seems to be slightly more expensive than a few other alternatives, is there any value for the extra we might pay ?

    2. My first degree was in Engineering however, I did an MBA because of my job in Energy Regulation. I was considering a PHD in Engineering management which Walden offers but the MBA kind of enlightened me so I am looking to diverify further. Is that a very safe choice ?

    3. The DBA or Phd factor.....some guys have told me to opt for a DBA instead of a Phd(perhaps because they see a phd as strictly for folks in academia and I am not in academics)

    4. What is the general rating and track record of Walden. It was founded in 1970 - of what significance is that ?

    Guys what are your takes ?
