That is not the case, here: I think Mr. Gruver is disgusted by what he sees when he looks at the private school licensing practices of Wyoming. The fact that the subject makes for good stories that can attract national attention and receive national distribution by AP is a positive factor. But I believe he feels that bringing the truth into the open may eventually help the state to Do The Right Thing. Investigative reporters can sometimes succeed in making the world a better, safer, more just place. That is an important part of his motivation, I think.
