Wow! I was searching online for some information about psychology programs and happen to follow a link to Northwestern State University that had a completely online degree in Psychology. Here is the link http://www.nsula.edu/psychology/ the information about the degree can be found way on the right hand side of the page. Imagine my shock to learn a school in my home state had this wonderful program the whole time on offering a Bachelor in Psychology entirely online. If I had known that I would have gotten my degree from a local home school then a out of state distance learning college.
More Info I went back to Northwestern State University website and found out that they not only offer a Bachelor degree online in Psychology but in a couple of other majors or offered online as well they or listed below: Associates Degree: Criminal Justice Associates Degree: General Studies Radiologic Technology to B.S. in Radiologic Technology Registered Nurse to B.S. in Nursing Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology Masters of Education: Concentration in Educational Technology Masters of Art in Adult Education Master of Science in Health & Human Performance Specialist in Education Add-On Certification: School Media Specialist Here is the link to verify the degrees: http://www.nsula.edu/ece/ensu.asp I hope this will be helpful for someone out there it's to late for me. I completed my BS in psychology at Excelsior College with out ever knowing that a accreditate university in my home state of Louisiana was offering so many online degrees. If I had known this earlier believe me I would never had to pay out the huge fees to Excelsior out of pocket. For example, If Excelsior had been in my home state I would have been fee exempt. Due to me at one time being in a home state program that allowed me too. Oh well, I guess and hope this information will help some one out there
The poster is refering to Northwestern State University of Lousiana not Northwestern University of Chicago.
College No, The university I'm talking about is located in Lousisana. Northwestern I've been told is some were around a 80 or 100 years old and is a well established college. So, if you are any one else who wants an online degree that comes from a established university with an actual college campus background this could work.
