From Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire (RA by NEASC). Courses are offered in a one weekend per month format, with online assignments and class discussions in-between. Several concentrations available; http://www.franklinpierce.edu/pages/gps/gradstudies/datl/index.htm
For those living in that area--or who can sustain the travel--this looks like a cool approach to leadership. IIRC, the DA degree was developed as a teaching degree, where the emphasis was on teaching whatever discipline made up the degree. This doesn't seem to be the case here. Instead, a holistic, interdisciplinary approach to learning leadership, combined with practical/applied research, carries the day. Very cool.
I realize this is an old thread, but I just stumbled across this site... If anyone is interested in this program, shoot me a message...I started back in 2007 and I'm currently ABD, hoping to defend in Sept.-Oct. of this year. I thoroughly enjoyed the program...one weekend per month format was perfect while juggling family, work, etc. Total cost is around $40k...well worth it!
