With a focus on "value" Money Magazine ranks US colleges. Methodology/criteria is always key in these ranking systems and you can decide if you like the way they did it. I wasn't particularly surprised by their pick for #1 but I was surprised by their #2, a smallish school in my backyard. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/money-s-best-colleges-2015-211352872.html
I'm not surprised at Babson being number 2. It attracts wealthy, less than Ivy-League intellects so a survey that measures what they call ROI naturally favors those from wealthy backgrounds. (basically ROI = graduate income/ cost of education). A tragic flaw in the report. Plus Babson majors are mostly finance, accounting, and economics; all moneymakers. No artists, teachers, or social workers there. Babso was a stockbroker who famously predicted the 1929 crash.
