Does anyone know anything about this institute (http://www.mbiyeshiva.edu/index.htm)? I am also wondering if Transworld is a recognized accreditation?
Transworld is not a recognised accreditor. A google search reveals very little about them (only 62 hits and most of them are from schools which claim accreditation from it). It looks like they are an accreditation mill. Avoid.
Transworld Accrediting Commission currently accredits institutions of higher learning in over 172 worlds.
=== No , Transworld is not recognized. For this institution to claim accreditation is one red flag. For it to offer an MDiv with the meager faculty listed is a second red flag. Avoid it. There are many distance ed programs that are much more substantial. Look at Jason Baker's site.
I believe that St Petersburg Theological Seminary (TRACS-accredited) has a "messianic" department run by a Dr Fischer. This would be a better option, since TRACS is CHEA-recognized.
Are they a DL seminary? I looked all over their website, and I couldn't find anything on DL programs.
Re: Re: Re: Messianic Bible Institute Legitimacy in 171 out of 172 ain't bad, Gregg. With this record why should TAC be concerned about this world?
I'm assuming this (and Uncle Janko's reply) is aimed at me. The only classes I see are in St. Petersburg, FL or the Tampa Center. Unless you are speaking of a different St. Petersburg Seminary (http://www.sptseminary.edu/)
No, that's the one. Why not talk to them and see if they will take you on as a DL student, even if they don't generally offer DL? You lose nothing by asking.
