You're fortunate in that there are a few choices for you in this area. Most seem to come from Australia. Deakin University, University of Melbourne and the University of New England all have Masters programs. Despite those good programs, my first choice woud be the University of London. Check them all out. Please check program costs carefully, the Australian costs have risen remarkably in recent years. Jack
UOL has a distance learning course on economics? Been checking their websites and couldn't see any... Can someone help give a link to the relevant sites? Much thanks!
http://www.londonexternal.ac.uk/postgraduate/index.php This site lists all the master level programs they offer.
They offer Master of Science degrees in Financial Economics, Applied environmental economics, or agricultural economics. They also offer a postgrad diploma in economic principles.
Here are a couple more choices: The University of Strathclyde in the UK has a MSc program in "Economic Management and Policy." However, they will not begin their DL option until October of 2005. http://www.strath.ac.uk/economics/pg-info/econmgtplcy.htm The University of South Queensland in Australia offers a Masters in Finance and Economics via DL. http://www.usq.edu.au/futurestudents/programsearch/MFEC.htm
Someone also metioned in another post about a MA DL in Economics and Policy program in the US. I think it was Eastern Oregon University or something like that. Search google or the fourms.
