As some of you have seen before EC-Council, the people that bring us the Cerfitied Ethical Hacker, has had some vauge info on a Master of Security Science degree listed on their website. The page previously listed at http://www.eccouncil.org/mss.htm now seems to contain no data, but if you do a little searching on google you can find the old pdf. What's now interesting is this website. http://www.eccuni.us/ According to http://www.eccuni.us/news.htm The website goes on to say that they have a physical campus and that they'll be offering the MSS and the MBA in e-business. It's certainly interesting that they're going to offer a degree with a state license, but who knows what future plans will be. I could see this perhaps having utility with some employers, and perhaps for the right cost it might be interestng to pursue.
SANS is offering a similair program, but its expensive. They are not accredited, just licensed. To me it makes alot of sense though if we had a masters program basedon certifications at the same time. Two birds with one stone..
For those preferring a school with regional accreditation check out Capitol College in Laurel, MD. One or more of their degrees is recognized by the NSA.
