I am in the Florida State Program, in fact this is my last semester. It is a fine program that can be done entirely by distance learning.

The cost is ~$700 per class (3 semester hour credit) for in state students. Apparently the fees can be the same, or lower, for out of state distance learning students. There are waivers for out of state fees, and academic common market states that pay different, oddly often lower, fees than I do. A memorandum from one of the Deans is available. http://www.lis.fsu.edu/NewsDetails.cfm?Event=%23%2A%408%20%0A

This program graduates students from an ALA approved program with a MS in Library and Information Studies, not the MLS of yesteryear, but most schools have changed the name of their library degree. The important thing is to note that the school is accredited by the ALA ( as well as being RA).

The University of Oregon has a distance masters in Applied Information Management. This may not be strictly a library science degree, but it's certainly related - and it looks interesting.
