I am on the horizon from graduating from Excelsior College with my BSLA (specialized areas in Natural Science/Mathematics). I am looking for a college or university with a DL program that I can enroll in for a Masters Program. The catch is, I am looking to have my Masters degree in a specific area(s), which are: - Masters in Natural Sciences (or Earth/Space sciences) - Masters Secondary Education in Natural Sciences (or Earth/Space Sciences) - Masters in Post-Secondary Education in Natural Sciences (or Earth/Space sciences) The problem is, I am having a difficult time finding a DL college/university that would have such a program. I have looked into Michigan State University's MAED program....... http://ed-web3.educ.msu.edu/onlineedu/ But their program is a Natural Science/Math program. The combo isn't exactly what I wanted to get myself into. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas for me???? My ultimate goal is to eventually teach in a Community College in the Natural Sciences or Earth/Space Sciences. Thanks Jay
How 'bout these? try... http://www.space.edu/Administration/ or http://www.erau.edu/gradprograms/loader.html There are some really cool programs at these, I only wish I had some mathematics in this here brain. The Embry-Riddle Master of Aeronautical science with concentration in space management looks pretty nifty.
Check out the Prescott College MA in environmental studies http://www.prescott.edu/academics/map/areas.html#es
http://www.msstate.edu/dept/geosciences/CT/TIG/Site.htm Mississippi State's MS in Geoscience is an earth science degree for teachers.
Thanks to all who have replied......some information to start looking into... Please, anyone else feel free to contribute additional links. Cheers! Jay
