Liberty vs APUS

    There was nothing in my posts that suggested that a Liberty degree would be frowned upon in the marketplace. I was merely pointing out that certain individuals might not want to attend a university that is so staunchly evangelical.

    Also, I doubt that there are many employers that would look at a resume and toss it in the trash because you attended a Christian university. I would think that a majority of employers would be neutral on the subject and would judge you on your qualifications and experience. I wouldn't want to work for someone who would toss my resume because I attended a Christian university anyway.

    As a hiring manager, I can honestly say the religous affiliation would never be a consideration. I graduated from Touro, "Touro College is a Jewish-sponsored independent institution of higher and professional education." Do you think anyone cares much? By the way, I am not Jewish, I just got a great deal!

    Exactly, and if someone was prejudiced about a degree with religious affiliation, I'm not sure I'd want to work there anyway. What else would they be prejudiced against?

    I agree! My degrees from Southern Methodist University (Methodist) and Georgetown University (Roman Catholic); I am Baptist...
