Labor Day Weekend

I hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday weekend. What are your plans? At some point I plan to invade the Woodstock Fair.

I am spending a lot of time at the pool.

 

Do nothing and love it!

 

I'm up w/ Randell... I rather do nothing, but I'm still in school. Although the day after Labor Day is my B-day, I don't have much planned other than to soak up in my reading and encompass my life on it's journey.

Oh but I am going to Circ de Sole this Saturday as my pre-birthday present.

 

I will be working on my homework assignments and reading peer-review articles.

 

I have to work! :rant:

 

Go to Baumann family reunion.

Go to brother's birthday party.

Go to Labor Day cookout.

 

I am going to be one of many Hamburger cooking engineers at a "Solidarity" barbeque event. Should be lots of fun. :smile:

My pool time is going to be broken up with college football games today.

 

I had forgotten Monday was a holiday - I will ride my bike and watch the US Open.
I do have Octoberfest on my calender because I plan to attend a 4-day model rocket launch competition.

 

That is SOOO nerdish. I LOVE IT!!!

 

Oh! I forgot to mention mowing the lawn.

 

Anyone thinking of also going to the fair, avoid the corndogs.

 

My weekend consists of writing a paper on "What is a profession?", reading, watching lectures, and taking tests. :eek13:

 

What does a model rocket competition consist of? Since I was a boy, I have done radio controlled aircraft off and on, but have never seen much in the way of model rocketry.

 

Cooking.

I just cloned Guy Fieri's recipe for Cajun Chicken Alfredo and then I'll be trying my hand at creating the perfect San Francisco Sourdough French Bread.

 

I ended up only having to work half of the day and spent the second half lounging around, reading and enjoying the company of my lovely wife. We teamed up and are now making some homemade pizza.

 

I slept the day away! Had some vegan Vietnamese food for dinner and relaxed...it was nice.

 

Went to Bob Evans for brunch. Hung out at the parents' house. Went to the saloons. Then it rained, making it all but impossible to mow the lawn.
