Job Opening: Multimedia/Graphics and Blackboard Admin

As frequent readers probably know, I recently started as Director of E-Learning Services at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. I have an immediate opening for a Multimedia/Graphics Specialist. While the position involves multimedia and graphics, there are two other aspects to it that are worth mentioning. One is that one of the things I really need is a backup Blackboard administrator, even though that's not mentioned in the job description. The other is that we also do video production here, and that means whoever we hire will get cross-trained to do some cool stuff with video.

We're a really fun team, and our whole department is pretty laid back, which I really like. It's probably important to note that I realize I will have to bring an ideal person up to speed on a few things than try to find someone who meets each and every bullet point in the job description.

Also, I'm willing to consider non-local candidates, but the position is in Northern Virginia and relocation is not available.
