Gotcha! NYTimes KNEW they were lying!

Andrew G. McCarthy, the first WTC bombing prosecutor, reveals June 25th that the New York Times knew they were lying! They had documents weeks ago that comfirmed US knowledge of Saddam/Al Qaeda ties. They went ahead and launched their partisan assault on Bush aynway.

    "Times Games:
The newspaper of record withholds Iraq/Qaeda connection evidence.

"A week ago, the New York Times reported, in a screaming page-one headline, that the 9/11 Commission had found 'No Qaeda-Iraq Tie.' ***Today, in a remarkable story that positively oozes with consciousness of guilt, the Times confesses not only that there is documentary evidence of at least one tie but that the Times has had the document in question for several weeks.*** That is, the Times was well aware of this information at the very time of last week's reporting, during which, on June 17, it declaimed from its editorial perch that the lack of a connection between Saddam Hussein's regime and Osama bin Laden's terror network meant President Bush owed the nation an apology."

    Hmmn

From a very quick read I gather Orson is listing both sides of the media trail, both left and right.

I remember an old bumper sticker that stated:

"Annoy a Liberal, ignore the Media"

Fox News does have a rightward slant, however, in its early days it was a breath of fresh air after listening to ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, PBS and every other blathering talking head on the airwaves.

One could not even pick up that newspaper without the left wing spin of Molly Irvings, Richard Cohen, etc.

What has happened? Today, I find nothing in regard to reporting facts, but reporting what they feel will equal ratings.

It is known that 90+% of reporters today are Left to center thinkers, however, by standards they should report what they see and not include their opinion no matter what side the isle they tend to lean.

Remember the not so old days of the 1970's when 60 Minutes used to report the news, then have a segment called point counter-point? Today, it is just, well, sometimes I wonder if Pravda (The past Communist machine of the old Soviet Union) did not relocate to Manhattan.

I for one hardly watch the news at all anymore, I receive email alerts when something happens, thus just the bullet point w/o bias, then investigate for myself if interested.

Basically, I think Fox is lousy. Esp. the show Fox and Friends. I could not stand to hear the blond pencil neck geek referring to our soldiers by the wrong service, rank, and most of all our weapons systems as those "new fancy thingy's"
As far as the rest of them, outside of Christine Amapour, I turn them off to keep my sanity.

As far as voting for Bush, Im still on the fence. In my humble opinion, I do not see any difference in him or Kerry.

As far as Bruce and his opinions, well moderator or not, I welcome them anytime. Actually, I find them well rounded.

    Enjoy,
