Does anyone know if there is at least one DL BA/BS in accounting that is AACSB accredited? There seems to be a growing number of AACSB grad degrees in accounting, but I don't know of any at the undergrad level.

Of course now you are going to ask what it is I suppose.

The AACSB website is pretty unhelpful.

If you want to find other degrees than the Isenberg the only really thorough way is to go to this link:

    http://www.aacsb.edu/General/InstLists.asp?lid=5

and start clicking on every single link in alphabetical order until you find a distance bachelor's.

Unfortunately, the Isenberg program through UMass-Amherst does not seem to offer a DL degree in accounting. The only two BBA degree majors available online through Isenberg are in marketing and management.

Are there some kind of barriers to offering an undergrad degree via DL with AACSB accreditation?

I'm going to assume by the lack of response that such a program does not exist....unfortunate.

No, that is not a valid assumption. What is more valid is that the week before Christmas, at the end of the Fall semester (In North America) is a busy time. And perhaps others are busy.

Before I would make that statement I would do some research of my own.

I have spent many hours doing research on this topic. I turned to the board as a last resort, hoping that the Degree Info gang might have some information that I missed.

Don't give up, just keep working down lists and plugging at it. It took at least 2 weeks of heavy internet research to come up with my program short-list.

Like other people said it is quite busy so have some patience.
Having let myself go, here is some usefull info.

    google guide

I went through this list and looked at only 2 because they were both in the UK and in europe.

    option 1

This is a very good option. You get some accounting qualifications and you get the bachelors degree from oxford brooks university. Please read the page carefully and see if this is what you want to do, because there is also an option to an MBA this way . See the button below.

    MBA option

There are some other option which i will mention but did not look into very much

    http://www.cimaglobal.com/main/prospective/index.htm
(this one also has an MBA option, but through henley management college)

    http://www.icaew.co.uk/careers/

    not sure about this one

Hope this will help you on your way to your goal.

With me not being an expert on accreditation, I would recommend going the ACCA route, based upon the assumption that oxford brooks is a very well respected university in Europe/ UK and as such should have no problem meeting your criteria.
