Does anyone have any info on this place?

They look quite interesting as a new institution, and appear to have operated just before the BBPVE dissolved in 2007,

It appears as if the offer physical campus based programs, not just distance learning.

However, the wikipedia discussion states a few potential bad points, ""According to its newsletter, IAU received its initial approval in July 6, 2006 and conducted its first graduation ceremony in Malaysia in April 1, 2007 which was only 8 months after its initial operating approval.
According to page 13 of its catalog,[3] under Waiver of Bachelor's Degree, in some circumstances, IAU will not require an earned bachelor's degree to be admitted into its master's degree programs. ""

Do you think they will be approved by the new BBPVE over the next few months?

Anyone living close by fancy checking them out

They are apparently renting space in a building divided up into small office suites, occupied by physicians, realtors and the like.

Here's the Google results for IAU's office suite.

Note in particular the url for this one:

For some background on St. Clements University, see this old thread:

    http://forums.degreeinfo.com/showthread.php?t=18662

My guess is that would be extremely doubtful.

    looked on google street maps.

'antelope valley college' also shares this adress, although on first glance they look legit.

Palmdale: 1529 E. Palmdale Blvd, Palmdale CA

on a side note, do you think they are related to st. clements?

They are. They are the local community college, which apparently holds some remote-site classes on one of this building's floors.

International American University? I don't know. But for some reason a stclementsu.net url does seem to deliver us to an IAU page. I'm speculating that IAU is just St. Clements flying a new flag, but I might be wrong.

This post may be a tad bit late, I would like to clarify some info here. International American University is back in Los Angeles. now. Located in L.A., IAU has submitted all appropriate documents to the new Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education and to Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) for the change of location.

IAU does offer a campus program and we welcome anyone to come to down to visit our facility. Our admissions staff will answer any questions you may have. Meet our professors or sit in a class.

andypicken2 - IAU offers "top up" bachelor programs. So, our bachelor students are not H.S. grads. They usually have some years of college prior. Most have stopped going to school due to personal or professional reasons. They are coming to IAU to finish their bachelor degree.

IAU operates on a "year round" trimester academic calendar. IAU's trimesters are 4 months long, so 2 academic terms are 8 months. Many traditional semester calendars (CA Community Colleges / CSU's) are 8 month academic calendars also. So, our calendar is not much different from traditional schools, except that we go "year round" and our summer term is longer.

The bachelor degree waiver was actually a regulation recognized by the former BPPVE. Check the old regs. Even DETC, a National Accrediting body, acknowledges a bachelor degree waiver for graduate programs (see policy C9).

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me at [email protected]. I would rather provide you with accurate information than have you speculate.

Intersting domain information, the domain registration is in Anaheim, but the domain extension is for Laos.

I take it people are supposed to think "Los Angeles".
