I thought I'd start a thread for the purpose of posting links to websites related to higher education. Some will be familiar to many of you but perhaps some will be more obscure. I would invite others to contribute but ask that you not post links to specific universities or university systems. These are easy to find without inclusion on this list. For those intrested in university rankings: Home - IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence From thier website: "IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence (in short: IREG Observatory) is an international institutional non-profit association of ranking organizations, universities and other bodies interested in university rankings and academic excellence." On thier site (under "INITIATIVES"), there is the so called "IREG Inventory of National Rankings" with a list of national rankings, and with a report about many national ranking systems. That list includes the following countries: Albania, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, the UK, and the United States.
