True but there is a Boondocks. There's also a town about 10 miles from where I live that is so small that on 4th of July, they park the parade in the middle of the street and the people walk around it.

It's interesting to me that, after being asked for prospective names for a "DL" university, most responses were of the "scam" variety. Obviously it's all in jest but it's interesting that when faced with the prospect of naming a legitimate DL school (nothing in the original posting suggests a mill or and otherwise illegitimate school) most responders replied with joke answers that would actually demean the school. If the members of this forum can not come up with a school name that reflects dignity and respect, what does this indicate? Maybe it indicates that we don't take ourselves very seriously (is this a good thing?) Maybe it indicates that I should be getting more sleep. Whatever.

Actually, many of the joke names listed here would be preferable to some of the putrid names of legitimate DL schools.

For instance, I would much rather be a graduate of Hamilton-Beach University than Argosy, which sounds like a skin disease.
