IEEE Member to Lead ABET Accreditation Board 12 April -- IEEE member William S. Clark has been selected 2006 president-elect of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) by the organization's board of directors. Clark is the current IEEE representative to ABET. He has been an active IEEE and ABET volunteer since the early 1980s, concentrating on technology accreditation. A finance director for BellSouth Corp., Atlanta, Ga., Clark has worked for the company or one of its subsidiaries for 31 years, holding various engineering and technical-management positions. Clark joins Eleanor Baum, Jerrier A. Haddad and Jerry R. Yeargan as other IEEE members who have served as ABET president. Leser some of the issues raised here will be addressed. Learner
