I was accepted to FHSU! I am so excited to begin my new adventure. I appreciate all of the feedback I have received regarding schools and study advice. I will start with FHSU and see what I think. I am enrolled for Fall 2012, but I think I will take a course during the summer session. I will try to pick a subject that I feel won't be TOO difficult for me. That way I can get my feet wet and decide whether or not to take more than one course for the fall semeter. I know summer sessions are condensed, so I'll keep that in mind.
Welcome new Tiger! Welcome to FHSU! Im teaching 2 sections of LDRS 300 (Intro to Leadership Concepts) in the Fall. be happy to have you in the class. In any case, all the best!!!
Congratulations, Julie1014! I know how wonderful it feels to have all of your hard work, energy, and dedication validated by getting into your top choice program. Good on ya for doing all the right things to make this a reality! Enjoy the feeling of accomplishment and elation for a long time to come.
Brilliant! Congratulations! Only recommendation I have is to make sure you get the Gen Eds done with first (I also recommend using CLEP / DSST exams to knock out a few... seeing that you're an LPN, the "Here's to your Health" CLEP should be a breeze) which may prove difficult at times as Srs get first pick at courses... don't hold off on registering, if it opens at midnight, I'd be on there at 12:01
Thank you for the congratulations! Bruce, I enrolled in the bachelor of general studies program. I am just looking to study a broad variety of subjects for personal fulfillment, and at the same time finally receive a bachelor degree. I've had the "itch" for years, and now I am ready to scratch it, lol! BlueMason, thank you for the great suggestions! I am waiting for my adviser to contact me so I know what credits have been accepted so I know what to choose. I have been reading the schedules and syllybus like a kid in a candy store! mknehr, I saw your name on the course schedule for fall! I believe you just might be one of my class choices, professor!
