A long but excellent read about USA's apparent inability to compete in manufacturing. “We shouldn’t be criticized for using Chinese workers,” a current Apple executive said. “The U.S. has stopped producing people with the skills we need.” “We don’t have an obligation to solve America’s problems. Our only obligation is making the best product possible.” http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/22/business/apple-america-and-a-squeezed-middle-class.html?pagewanted=7&_r=2&hp
Love that quote from Apple directors about not solving America's problems. Wonder why there is no backlash on this kind of stuff from the SWPL Starbucks turtle neck wearing Apple sycophants? I see also in the article that they tout the Chinese ability to wake its workers up from a slumber give them a cookie and some tea and make last minute changes on the production line. You know why we can't do that here? Human Rights. Or in other words the U N I O N. ABNER!!!!!!!
I think 'engineering technicians or engineering technologists' is the phrase that should have been used!
