    I have two Priuses (Priii?), neither of which requires an electrical outlet....

    OK, I drive a 2004 Jeep Wrangler and know nothing about Priii. How do you charge the batteries if not through an electrical outlet? (Please forgive my ignorance).

    The Prius runs on gasoline, it just has different tech inside that makes it do so a little more efficiently. All-electric cars like the Nissan Leaf, on the other hand, actually run off battery power.
