How Do You Keep Going When Life Keeps Getting You Down?

It would be nice, why not? Animals/dogs are the most loyal companion one could ever have. For me, the bond between human animals and canine animals is priceless. Every "being" is worthy of love and respect in the world we share. I also think many would not think you were "crazy" for having a ceremony for your dogs. People see the headstones I made for my Akitas, and they like it. I am sensitive, so what? If they don't like it, then they are not my friends.

That is one of the most sane things I have heard. Pets are family and closure must take place. My wife and I have our cat's ashes on a book shelf and a picture of him. We already said, "When we go, the cat goes in the box with us" (of course, I am not in a hurry for that to happen). We had him for about 14 years and he was our "baby".
