Oh and that's a 65 raw score from a first attempt at an REA test. I've taken all 3, but I've studied a looot since I took the last one, I know I could do at least 5 questions better now.

Go into the Instantcert forum and read the specific exam feedback forum. That will give you a very detailed list of what to expect. Anything on that list that is a weakness, use the internet to find. There are Peterson's Exams which normally cost $20, there are ways to take that for free, but since some of them might be unethical, I'll let you google that and decide for yourself. Anyway, a Peterson's exam is a good way to do a final test and see if you're ready. Is your exam scheduled? Do that asap.

So, I was working on this yesterday. Are these all in the right places, etc? I couldn't find what you were talking about in their catalog, cookderosa?

    I'll help you find it.

English Comp- Do I have to take it with essay? Yes

    Humanities: Humanities, German I Yes

Social Sciences: History I, Sociology, Psychology, Ed. Psych. Yes

Natural Sciences/Math: College Math., Info systems & comp. apps., Biology Yes

Gen. Ed. Electives: Analyzing Lit, English Lit, Natural Sciences Yes

Also, I knew this would take a turn toward F2F vs DL vs testing, lol. I'll post the catalog once I find it. They move it from time to time and the page won't load. It's in the college catalog toward the back if you get there first.

OK, I did a relatively unethical thing and counted myself as a "family member" of my cousin-in-law who is in the army. Somehow I doubt that's what they had in mind for family member :D But I took my first Peterson's test and I got a 53... Is that okay? I remember hearing that Peterson's tests are hard compared to REA (and they are!), but how do they compare to the real thing?

My History test is scheduled for Oct. 23. It's ridiculous, I live right next to Columbus OH, and can I get my test scheduled? No. I've been calling and leaving messages at colleges for weeks and this is the first one to actually answer, so I took the first spot they had :\ They won't schedule ahead though, so I might have to go through this again every time :( Do they schedule in person? My sister goes to Col. State, so I could catch a ride with her some time.

Thanks so much for that link, and for all your help, cookderosa! :) and sentinel... and everyone else :) Hang tight, cuz I'm sure I'll have more questions ;)

I was also wondering what colleges you guys would recommend? I would totally go for a non-Big-3 college if it is going to be a good education for less $$ that I can do totally online or correspondence. Oh, and they have to accept 60 or more test credits :)
