Another interesting DL & other learning source for ACE transferrable credits in everything from Algebra to Hydrology to Accounting.

    See Graduate School, USDA

"The Graduate School, USDA is a continuing education institution offering career-related courses to all adults regardless of education or place of employment. We annually provide more than 1,500 different courses for career development and personal enrichment."

"many of which are eligible for transferrable ACE college credits or are part of certificate programs"

  2. Until not-too-long-ago, their programs were "property" of the Office of Personnel Management. After responsibility was transferred to the USDA, the number of "distance-based" courses multiplied. The courses were not ACE-reviewed until VERY recently-- the last fiscal year or so.

Trivia: The USDA-GS is the only non-accredited source specifically named in the Federal Personnel Manual as acceptable for meeting educational requirements for certain positions.
