Hi, please tell me what GAAP means? It sounds great that I can take 15 credits for my masters, but is it legit? If so, please give me a good school for a MLA using this method. thanks
Funny Gert, John, try generally accepted accredidation policies/practices or something with proper spelling to that effect.
Thanks Mike, would this be considered an "accredited" program? If so, any suggested schools? thanks again
John Spies: "Thanks Mike, would this be considered an "accredited" program? If so, any suggested schools? " John Bear: If the question is, "Would a school that is generally accepted as accredited be accepted as accredited?" the answer is, "Generally, yes." GAAP is an arbitrary concept. No one would deny that a school wit regional accreditation would generally be accepted as accredited. Evidence suggests that a school with DETC accreditation will be accepted by regionally accredited schools less than half the time, but by business more so. Two years ago, I believed that a listing in the International Handbook of Universities was a factor in general acceptance, but I've become convinced that it is not, by many registrars, and by me.
