Food Stamp Soft Drink Ban?

    On the other hand, if we the people force food stamp recipients to eat healthy, they'll live longer and thereby cost the taxpayers more.

    Or, if people receiving government aid for buying food eat healthier, they will have less health issues and cause the tax payers less.

    This means that just like cigarettes and alcohol, which are unhealthy, they will have to make the choice to spend their own money on junk food.

    Good point! He he he! Now that I think of it, everyone should be able to drink a soda. There are worse things to drink, like whiskey for example.

    That is a logical contradiction. How can whiskey be worse than soda when there is nothing better than whiskey?
