    I saw the same thing and was wondering what was up. As of now I think its a done deal and I'm doing it. I like the set up and the way the degree completion program is done. It's a good school, after speaking to others who have attended I am going to try. Yall must remember I was the guy who went to University of Atlanta lol. That was a nightmare if I might say so. Aspen truly appears to be a solid school and has a huge following in the Nursing community, as well as naadca and pmi approved programs.

    I wonder how true the rumors are about the run for RA? I don't know, I hate rumors and DETC is fine with me.

    Cool thanks for the info, after years of DETC it's going to hard to change to DEAC.

    I'm surprised that says federal regulations. I'd think it would be more state regulations, as in those are presumably the states that are the most unyielding and ridiculous when it comes to insisting that distance learning schools register with them even if they're registered in their home state. But maybe it's something else?

    Massachusetts and some other states have cracked down on DL programs being offered to their residents, unless the state approves them. I think they have the best of intentions (blocking degree mills), but long established, B&M schools like TCU are getting caught in the dragnet;

    Center for Teaching Excellence

    Additionally, does anyone really think that most degree/diploma mills are going to abide by these regulations?

    Based on what? I have degrees from NA and RA schools and have taught at NA and RA schools.
