Facing Middle Age With No Degree "For men without higher education, though, dwindling prospects in the labor market have made a growing percentage either unwilling to marry or unable to find someone to marry them." http://tinyurl.com/mpvc3
The free market forces at work did these men or you folks ever hear of ESCORTS I'm nearing 40 and unmarried if I want sex I can call several fine professionals. They come over I pay them their donation and we get busy. I get what I want a very desireable woman companion for meeting my needs and she gets paid. No hassle and a fantasy companion that is open minded and non-judgemental. And yes I will hire women for longer dates where we dine out, dance and maybe see a movie or go to the theater as well as the obvious services. Why bother getting married at my age when I have other outlets?
I'm mid-30's, married, two kids and guess what? I can't get my wife (a dedicated careerist) to do laundry or clean up after the pets, either. Looks like things are tough all over.
Living without a wife is eeeeeeasy, but living without a degree??? A wife will leave you, but a degree won't. My house cleaner is a former prostitute. It seems they either do one or the other, but not both.
This article would have been better had there been real statistical evidence for why men are remaining single.
matrimony and sex remaining single doesnt necessarily mean having to get a prostitute to prove ones manhood ..... people are so obsessed on sex ..like you cant live without it or you have to do it .... sometimes there are people out there who are celibate .... even when you get married ...you will not necessarily get sex alot or all the time especially when you have children to monitor and guide ......and show an example...... but getting layed all the time gets redundant and you will get tired of it as time passes by ....even the hookers get themselves exhausted.... has anyone taken econ 101 ? the concept of opportunity cost can also be applied with relationships ..... by the way you guys ..take it easy on the comments b/c it can be offensive to some other people .... just letting you know on a good note to take it easy ..... and one day ....you guys will find the right one ...
Re: matrimony and sex Perhaps this is because the kinds of guys that would go to see the ladies of the evening are not likely the kinds of guys that would try too hard to please a woman.
Re: Re: matrimony and sex Lee A. Lillard and Linda J. Waite of the University of Michigan's Michigan Retirement Research Center. In a paper, "Marriage, Divorce and the Work and Earnings Careers of Spouses", published in April, 2000, they found that for white women, higher earnings, more hours of employment and higher wages while single all reduce the chances of marriage. "This suggests that (1) success in the labor market makes it harder for women to make a marital match, (2) women with relatively high wages and earnings search less intensively for a match, or (3) successful women have higher standards for an acceptable match than women who work less and earn less." Some research suggests the opposite is true for black women. Source: "Marriage, Divorce and the Work and Earnings Careers of Spouses," Lee A. Lillard, Linda J. Re: Re: matrimony and sex true ...but you cant stereotype ..they all have the same motives b/c they can all have different motives.... just keep an open mind to the possibilities...
