Hello. I was wondering how a school that requires no entrance exam (i.e. GRE/GMAT) fairs from the rest? I am debating whether or not I should take the GRE and apply for a traditional B/M school or should apply to a school that doesn't require these types of entrance exams. What do you think?
When you say "fairs from the rest", what you do mean? Reputation? I would expect a school that does not require the GRE/GMAT to be somewhat less prestigious. That's not a rule but an expectation resulting from open enrollment. Dave
What is the big deal with taking one of the exams? Get a book for like $30, study for a couple weeks and take the test. Then your options open up drastically. A school that does not take them (mostly for-profit) is suspect. There are exceptions, TAMU-C is one. http://www7.tamu-commerce.edu/graduateprograms/Programs/online.asp Eliminating a potential school because it requires one of the exams will be a mistake.
