Good Morning, I am looking for courses graduate or undergraduate that would have specific applications to alternative school populations. Ideas needed quickly and greatly appreciated. Hille

I havn't even been able to find any journals or publications that focus on alternative high schools, let alone any courses. I have done papers on alternative schools in several of my "core" M Ed classes, as I was allowed some flexibility. I did a paper on GED prep curriculum in my curriculum class, and a paper on emerigng alternatives to traditional high schools in one of my two research classes.

Many adult education classes explore issues in alternative schooling. That may be the prefered degree for those sort of schools/programs.

It is an emerging field, I'm surprised there isn't more out there on it.

    Hi Hille:

I know this is off topic, but I just want to share with you that my wife has finally completed all the required course works for her undergraduate degree at TESC. We want to thank you for all your helps in the past. My wife is currently looking for an online master degree program in special education. If you or anyone in this board know of any good and affordable program in special education please share them with us. This board is great. Hille, I am sorry for not knowing of any distance learning alternative education degree program to share with you.

    Best regards,
