What is missed by most is that while MIGS was inept, it was a real attempt at establishing an American-based DL program under the aegis of the CEU. I suspect the founders of MIGS had a few nefarious purposes, but their path was the establishment of a legitimate, recognized branch of the CEU. But it was a miserable failure.
