I'm writing about Columbus University, for the forthcoming major revision/expansion of our Degree Mills book. While they claimed to be in Picayune, Mississippi, the FBI found their one and only office in a run-down duplex in New Orleans, where dwelt the sole faculty member for 128 degree programs. On one of their websites, they show a very large elegant building, on a hill. It looks tantalizingly familiar, but I can't place it. If you've got a moment, could you take a look and see if you know what it is. It would be fun to be able to report that. The link: Columbus University Many thanks.
Ha! Tracked it down here: Randolph-Macon Academy - Front Royal, Virginia/VA - Boarding School Profile Apparently it's an image of "Sonner-Payne Hall" at Randolph-Macon Academy (an accredited college prep school): Dorms: Turner Hall and Sonner-Payne Hall | Randolph-Macon Academy Randolph-Macon Academy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Found it by cropping & adjusting the levels of the image in Photoshop, then using TinEye Reverse Image Search to search for it.

Wow degree programs in: Geographically Cultivation Fine Artsciences Health S Bus TV Editor I notice that "term" on the tuition page is written as "trem". The "Representant" (whatever that is) link leads to a blank page. The "Research" link leads to a Google search page. The "Application" link leads to payment options, where we have this confidence inspiring sentence and a hotmail email address: "Please download and print this document then, sent it to us either via fax or email address email : [email protected] Incredible. Can't wait to sign up.:ugh:
Their "forum" page says something in...is it Arabic? http://www.columbusu.info/vb/ Hmm...may be I'll learn Arabic first before I proceed to buy...errr...apply for my Phd in Mechanical Engineering
Shady business, written in Arabic, raided by the FBI... Yep, nothing fishy here at all. Not in any way a means to funnel dollars to bad guys by laundering them through a "degree", right?
Looks like a sister site index Offers the same exact list of degrees, along with one in "Archeologyiness" Lol
