Does Anyone Know What The Excelsior Diploma Looks Like

I have several Diplomas and certificates and feel that the Excelsior Diploma is fairly standard. My nicest might be the Defense Language Institute.

it is good quality and very suitable for framing. I also graduated with honors (Cum Laude) and they attach a very nice golden seal to the Diploma itself.

If you earned it, display it and be proud of it.

 

I agree, I have all my degrees in my office but nobody has bothered to ask me which school I went to.

 

I have to say, I feel the look of the diploma is important. As Ive stated on here in other threads, Im the only person in my family who will have a bachelors degree (and eventually beyond) and I can tell you that not only will I look at it ad nauseam, but the rest of my family and several friends will, as well. No one is going to ask to see the transcripts. Who cares about that? (and Im referring to family/friends, not employers) They will want to see the beautiful diploma that is a symbol of all my hard work and determination. Kind of like a wedding ring. If the symbol doesnt matter, why bother with them? People wear them so everyone can see they are married. Some people have really nice ones that they are proud of and like to show off. I know that the MARRIAGE is the important part, but the outward symbol is nice, too. I know my education is the key, but come on. Its taking me blood, sweat, and tears to get the degree, I want something really nice to show off. Nothing wrong with that.

 

Maybe you're right about that. Harvard University's diploma looks ugly; therefore, I refuse to attend there. :sgrin:

I liked my Excelsior AS diploma-- it was really nice, and came in an impressive vinyl (Leather?) case. Admittedly, it should have been nice as I paid a couple hundred dollars in graduation fees and didn't even walk the stage!
