I am looking for DL courses that do not required a proctored exam. The course has to be RA in order for my school district to accept. Any ideas?
Graduate or undergrad? What subject? The obvious schools like UoP, NCU, and TUI do not require proctored exams. They are RA but expensive
SUNY - Empire State College is another. Way, way cheaper than UoP and the like. Also, do you need upper level or lower level? If it's lower level, the the Colorado Community College System and quite a few of the California CCs have unproctored courses. Angela
My employer, Keiser College, may meet your needs. They have RA online courses that you can do in just four weeks. The next start is 2/28, so you could have a class done by the end of March. Exams are open book, open note, multiple choice, and done as part of the online course, i.e. no proctor. -=Steve=-
Thanks for your response. Upper division or graduate. I can easily take lower-division for $26/unit, but need at least upper division.
Keiser College has upper division courses in Business Administration and MIS, and there a few general education courses as well. -=Steve=-
http://coned.colostate-pueblo.edu/indstdy/ If you need Sociology I don't beleive any of the upper level courses have proctored exames. I took I think 9 of them and never had one. (only for a 200 level class) Check out the Business courses to If you need them I don't think most of them required proctored exams either.
I can use units from any humanities/social science area, including sociology, psychology, political science, history, geography, etc. Since I also have a credential in English, I can use units from any discipline in English/Language Arts including theater, communications, literature. The upper division sociology class from Colorado will probably work, so I will give it careful consideration.
The University of Wyoming's Online UW classes do not require proctored exams. Their correspondence classes do, however.
