DL Accounting Ph.D. -- Can I get TT position?

I have doctorate from Australian school that was earned as an external student (not an online program but earned at distance). I received one offer as an online professor at a US online University for 65K/year, I did not consider it as this offer required me to be exclusive for this school and it was not a permanent position (tenure track) but based on a year to year contract.

65K is about the same an assistant professor makes in Canada at an AACSB accredited University. I have seen those reports from AACSB that claim that starting positions pay about 100K but I have not seen any real offer at this level for assistant professors at least in my field (Information Systems). People that I know that graduated from traditional AACSB schools here in Canada get offers in the range of 60-70K at either Canadian or American schools. I suppose that starting salaries at 100K level exist but there might be available at top ranked schools that normally would recruit candidates from top schools also.
