Oh, you think there is nothing to argue about in nursing? Try posing the question, which is the better nurse, a BSN grad or an ADN grad? The flames will fly faster than any RA or NO WAY agrument here. Been there, done that.

Also, the ANA just endorsed Kerry. Wow, it's getting hot over there.

 

ADN - better for care (sometimes)
BSN - better for care plans (sometimes)

I have both, I think you don't learn nearly as much in nursing school as you do nursing. I would go for the ADN and work and then get the BSN if and only if I wanted to get into nursing mgt.

I don't frequent the nursing boards any longer, I did use one of the yahoo groups for ER nurses but that grew boring after a few months.

the ANA is a little whacked, I though so before Kerry and I think so after, Kerry made little difference to me.

Of course if Kerry wins I am going here because I think stuff will start blowing up in the States.
