DANTES Test Update and Degree Status

Good news. I just received my scores for four DANTES
Intro to Business passed with 70 no study at all
Intro to Law Enforcement passed with 73 studied one weekend
Here's to your Health passed with 60 no study at all

These 3 can be passed by anyone. If you are nervous, Grab the study topics of the Chauncy group web site, look them up on the web and put together about 5 pages of notes. study for the weekend and take all 3 the next week. You will pass with ease. 9 hours in your bag for one weekend isn't too bad eh?

Ethics in America was the fourth. See my previous post for the detail on this test. Not as easy to me as it seemed for some... I passed with a 64 and studied for 3 weeks. I used the recommended text from the study guide and ordered it from half.com.

On to DANTES Drug and Alcohol, Fundamentals of Counseling. I'll take both of these in the next two weeks. Currently at 30 hours remaining and counting down to BS COSC. I started with 12 credits one year ago, it can be done Brothers and Sisters!!! I have amassed 78 hours by credit and certifications. I only wish I had been more agressive with my test taking earlier. Thanks to all on this board who are in the process of gaining their degrees and all who have their degrees. You are inspiring me to finish my dream.... Wish me luck for my remaining 30!

 

Wonderful wonderful. Congratulations. Please study for the Drug and Alcohol test, this is not something someone without a medical background is going to breeze through. I haven't taken it but I know from taking lots of drug tests (the paper kind) that these can be quite tricky. Keep us posted on your progress. You are almost there.
