I am about to return to school after some years. In an advising session the advisor told me I need to get a course description for some of the courses on my transcript to see where they will apply at my new school. These are classes I took about 14 years ago and don't have a clue who I need to contact about the course descriptions. Any help??
Hello Phillypoet from a former Bucks County Guy. If you're nearby the school you formerly attended you may want to see if the library keeps old copies of the university bulletin. This should contain a listing with a brief description of all the courses offered at the time. Any chance you could send a package of Tastycakes? Butterscotch krimpets would be great. David
syllabi The previous post was good advide. Plus, call the departments to see if they keep this stuff. Some of you old profs my be there or at least find out who they were so you can google them and get the stuff from them directly. Some may still be in the same department.
art/graphic design sometimes keeps old catalogs for helping continuity as the create new ones. The office of the registrar will often have old catalogs so they can do course reviews. 14 year old course descriptions can be really hard to come by -- good luck.
Thanks guys Thank for all the help guys. I will try a few of the suggestions. A Dave where you located now? Nothing like Tastycakes! Enough to make you move back home. Thanks again everyone.
Found something Thanks guys! Actually that Collegesource.org link had a catalog from 1993, a few years off but its the same course the school offered when I was there so I think it will fly. I will keep you posted. I love this forum!!
