The slow cooker is your friend. There are endless full meal recipes that you can find online that require next to no prep (just throw everything in the pot) and come out looking like you're a culinary genius. It's a great way to make meals without ever really learning how to cook. No one has to know :newangel:

My mom makes pot roast in a Crock pot. Damn, it comes out so tender and juicy. Maybe I will try it sometime. It can't be that hard.

Sounds like a crock pot is the way to go. A shelter puppy would probably explode if you tried to microwave it. And, even if you punched some air holes in it, a microwave probably wouldn't cook the puppy evenly throughout.

Having never eaten one, though, I have to ask: Does a shelter puppy taste like chicken?

(All of this reminds me of an old classic that's fun to pass on to right-to-lifers: "How do you make a dead baby float? Two scoops of dead baby and a little 7-Up.")

My friend Ernie was a Vietnam vet. He said that whilst in the jungle, they used to trap these huge rats. He said they used to taste pretty good because their diet consisted mostly of rice from the rice fields. He also said snakes taste like chicken.
