I see that College of the Humanities and Sciences received accreditation at the DETC Accrediting Commission meeting last week.
Isn't thier program quite a bit more expensive than HUX? My server is too slow to get in on their site. Chris
after looking it up After looking this up, I see that there may be some advantage to an MA in Humanities that allows more flexibility for self-customization than HUX. However, HUX is probably cheaper and may very well be a more solid institution overall (CSUDH). Chris
Looks like the only school to make the cut at the DETC this time around. It sure looks like the DETC is serious about doing their job.
Apparently this thing wants $7,700 for their masters program. CSUDH-HUX is in the $4,500 vicinity these days, I think. These guys offer a bachelors program that is apparently built around a "great authors" reading list: http://www.chumsci.edu/asp/academics/greatAuthors.asp This reminds me of St. John's.
