    Re: Question

No, the question is, "If I enroll in Rushmore, will I receive at the end of my studies a recognized degree?" The answer is obviously "No."

Schools like Rushmore, Century, Kennedy-Western, Berne, and others pretending to be universities do not meet the definition of that term in any way, shape, or form. Universities have three functions: Credentialing, Service, and Education. These operations do none of them.

    Re: Question

George Brown, I and some toehrs have had the pleasurre/amusement of reading some MBA work that actually gained top marks from Rushmore.

The comment about Greenwich was that the work they accepted was about Australian High School essay level, Rushmore therefore would be about grade 4, well let's be generous and say grade 6.

If anyone was truly serious, the moment they started they would realise that it was sub-sub-sub standard have to decide to either withdraw from the degree or continue with it clearly understanding that it is NOT an MBA

  3. It would be an interesting experiment to apply for admission to a Unisa PhD program using a Rushmore degree. Would they fall for it? I doubt it, since I think they would require that one's prior degree be approved by SAQA.

As far as applying for a job in SA is concerned -- no problem. The Rushmore degree would in all likelihood be accepted without question.

Well, that depends who is applying for the job. If an american is applying for the job with a Rushmore degree then chances are that they won't check the degree and the last job will be the most relevant thing when evaluating the candidate. But if a guy that barely speaks english from China is applying for the job with a Rushmore degree, you bet they will check it out.

  5. Agreed. Though not many people from China who barely speak English are applying for jobs in South Africa!
