Changes to the Post 9/11 GI Bill coming

Having jaer57 around is definitely a plus.

 

I just recently found out that I could be awarded an additional year of the post/911. I had enrolled at Liberty and have roughly 5 months of the MG/GI Bill. I was initially under the impression that I had to relinquish the remainder of my prior program in order to qualify. The VA went out of their way (email and phone call) to inform me that I should finish out my old program and then I could apply for the additional year.

I have used the GI BIll for my BA, MBA, and 15 hours of my Ed.S. With the low cost of Liberty University for the military I will have enough funds to pay for my Ed.D. using on the GI Bill.
