    I'll try...

I don't believe for a moment, Nosborne, that Canada will ever produce - or even come close to producing - a higher-quality corrupt politician than the U.S. By all means, send our namby-pamby politico-villains back at the border. They all pale in comparison with yours. For instance, the U.S. has Rod Blagojevich. He was on the Daily Show and also Trump's "Apprentice." Our Rob Ford had to settle for Jimmy Kimmel!

Most of ours don't even have good hair.

BTW - drunken, crack-smoking, racist and misogynist are all epithets hurled at Ford -- but corruption? He's not been charged with anything and none of the stories swirling about him indicate he's done anything in the way of financial malfeasance. The only incident I can recall was the direction of about $3,000 in City money to aid the High School football team he coached at the time. That was later deemed improper and dealt with. In fact, when he was a City Councillor, it got to the other councillors that Ford's office spent far less money than theirs. That was prominent in his campaign for Mayor. He promised to "stop the gravy train" at City Hall and even his detractors have to admit that his efforts saved the City money. The exact amount is hotly debated though.

if it's corrupt politicians you're after - I don't think Ford's your guy. Badly-behaved, yes. Inept, yes. Made mistakes - plenty. Corrupt - no. He doesn't even count, in that field.
