    Again a NO

    Dear Carl,
Please understand that I had never worked for Canterbury or instant degrees. I had not even designed any websites for them.

But I was told that Dixie had listed my bio with Canterbury Christ Church University degree. But I never had such a degree.

Though I was their webdesigner, I was not able to make out how many websites they are having as they used to register 10-20 sites at a time and host.

The question of what happened to Mr. Stefaniak, ex-flack du jour for St. Reptile, and what he is doing now is worth pursuing. Anybody know?

    Bob?

I could see Bob logging on to MSN messenger almost everyday using his email ID [email protected]

But often he goes with status "AWAY" and I am unable to communicate. Let me give a try again tomorrow and ask him.

    What he said!

    What he asked!

    .... and

    Azad,

All praise to the, as you infer, fast-acting, efficient, and un-dupable Supreme Court of India!

Me thinks that, although you may be the plaintiff in this case that you say "you are preparing to file," the Indian Supreme Court may - stranger things have been known to happen! - turn the tables on you and find YOU........

    (Need I say it?)

    Gulity?!! (of, of ......... something?)

    LOL.
    ;)

    Thanks.

I am not afraid. I am clear on my side and hence approching the court.

I know very well that I have not done anything knowingly or have not done anything wrong. So I don't fear to go to court.

  8. Some free legal/logic advice...

    Azad,
You say that you have not "done anything knowingly" OR "have not done anything wrong". I think a better logical separator would be the use of the word "AND". By saying you have either not done anything "knowingly" or "have not done anything wrong" you leave it up to the court to decide which of the two it is.

My guess is that you both did things "knowingly" (as when you allowed your name to be used on the Canterbury/Instant Degrees scam) and that you did "wrong" things too - as when you foolishly decided to cast your lot with degree mill operators and criminals. Only now, that the light of day has been shed upon some of these events, do you try to present yourself as an innocent victim - at least to this audience.

Would you have been just as adamant about your "being duped" had those degree mill ventures paid off for you, or had the educational community somehow (through some miracle/alternate universe) decided that these unaccredited institutions (I'm being kind here) were even slightly legitimate?

    Dear Sir,
Whatever you think, I am not on the wrong side NOW.

There are only two who can decide these things, the God and the Justice in the Judge to whom I am filing the application.

  10. More logic.....

    Azad,
Reform is a wonderful thing. However, your reply seems to be an admission that you were at some time in the past on the wrong side. Therefore, I would deduce that you did not do this unknowingly since you have realized since those times that you were in the wrong? So... you did it knowingly.

    And.... you did wrong things.

But NOW you are not on the wrong side, do I have it right?

But I will never redo those things :)

  12. Now we're getting somewhere!

That's good, but don't you still owe a debt to society for your past transgressions?

    Openly and Publicly I apologise.

I am sorry for the mistakes which will I never redo.

While I believe that I understand the point you're trying to make I clearly disagree. Everyone everywhere makes judgements about other people. You might argue that this is unfair or unjust, etc but it happens nonetheless. If you weren't concerned about what people think then you wouldn't be engaged in this discussion. You are trying to "clear your name" and in case you haven't noticed, you're not doing all that well. Imagine this. If you're having trouble trying to convince people of this forum that you were an innocent dupe, how well are you going to do when you're on the stand being grilled by some high-priced lawyer? Can you afford your own high-priced lawyer? What happens when these people file a defamation/libel suit against you and then you are the defendant? Even if they don't win they can drive you into bankrupcy from your legal defence costs. Proceed with caution.

    Dear Sir,
Thank you very much for your advice.

I can prove about the St Regis group in few minutes to the court as I have Bundles of evidences against them.

Azad, old chum, you haven't even proved that your posts aren't part of an elaborate ruse BY the St Regis group. You remind me of Albert Speer saying alternately that he was hypnotized or that he was just the piano-player (oops, that was Putzi Hanfstaengl).

What do you want me to do to prove that I am against the St Regis and any other Diploma Mill?

  18. You could start by coming clean about your association with Instant Degrees, and how that somehow tied in to your move to St. Regis.....
